蚁垤，又译跋弥（梵文: वाल्मिकी Vālmīki）是一位古印度诗人。相传是《罗摩衍那》的作者，其身份不详，有很多传说，有人说是语法学家，或古代仙人。

相传蚁垤出身婆罗门家庭，因静坐修行数年不动，身上成了蚂蚁窝的小土丘，故以蚁垤为名。另一种说法原本是个弃儿，被山中野人收养。长大成家后，以偷盗为生，专门抢劫朝圣者，后来被一位瑜伽士开导。一般专家倾向《罗摩衍那》是漫长历史累积的产物，由历代宫廷歌手和民间诗人不断添加扩充，直至最后定型。蚁垤有可能是史诗原始形式的“最初的诗人”，也可能只是一位虚构的作者。

Valmiki (Sanskrit; /vɑːlˈmiːki/; Valmiki) is celebrated as the harbinger-poet in Sanskrit literature. The epic Ramayana, dated variously from 5th century BCE to first century BCE, is attributed to him, based on the attribution in the text itself. He is revered as the Ādi Kavi, which translates to First Poet, because he is said to have invented shloka (i.e. first verse or epic metre), which set the base and defined the form to Sanskrit poetry.
