茶色蟆口鸱（英文：Tawny frogmouth，学名：Podargus strigoides），又名褐蟆口鸱、茶色蛙口鹰、茶色夜莺或茶色夜鹰，是一种蟆口鸱，主要分布在澳大利亚大陆、塔斯曼尼亚岛及新畿内亚南部。茶色蟆口鸱因为其外形和通常在低光环境下出没，经常被误认为是猫头鹰。

雄鸟与雌鸟相似，约长35～50厘米。牠们的眼睛是黄色的，阔喙上有一束羽毛。牠们可以用喙发出响声。

茶色蟆口鸱于夜间飞行猎食，早上会留在树上，等待猎物的到来。牠们会用喙捕捉猎物而不用钩爪，有时从树上冲往地上捕捉猎物。牠们的飞行能力不是很强，并且没有攻击能力，因此遇到危险时依赖保护色和拟态躲避捕食者——它们的伪装很好，当一动不动时会被当作是树干的一部份。茶色蟆口鸱主要捕食昆虫（比如蛾子、蝉、蚜虫、甲虫、黄蜂、蚂蚁等）、蜗牛、蛞蝓、蠕虫、蜘蛛、蝎子、蜈蚣、马陆等小型猎物，偶尔也会捕食青蛙、蜥蜴、壁虎以及一些小型的鸟类和哺乳动物。
