花魁 (日本)![]() 花魁(日语:おいらん)是指日本江户时代的吉原游廓里,对地位最高级的游女的称呼。其由来据传是源于18世纪时,吉原的游女们称呼比自己辈份高的游女为「姊姊」(おいらん),后来逐渐演变成用来称呼地位较高的游女之专称。而「姊姊」(おいらん)的由来则是来自于「我们这里的姊姊」(おいらの所の姉さん)一语的简称。在江户时代,在京与大阪,最高级的花魁叫做「太夫」(たゆう)。当时的吉原也有「太夫」存在,可是却尚未开始出现「花魁」(おいらん)这个称呼。 虽然现在日本不再有花魁,然而花魁的形象仍然影响现今日本文化。直至今日,对于一般的游女,有时也称她们为花魁。

However, they are distinguished from ordinary yūjo in that they were entertainers, and many became celebrities outside the pleasure districts. Their art and fashions often set trends and, because of this, cultural aspects of oiran traditions continue to be preserved to this day. |
