血钻（也称冲突钻石、战争钻石或血钻石）是一种在战争区域开采并销往市场的钻石。依照联合国的定义，被国际普遍不承认的非合法政府的组织（反政府组织）所出产的钻石被称为血钻。由于销售钻石得到的高额利润和资金会被投入反政府或违背安理会精神的流血武装冲突中，故而得名。这些组织派系秘密地为暴徒提供活动经费，或为组建进行侵略的军事力量筹措资金以发动战争。有些非政府组织声称，冲突钻石的利润是2001年9月11日的九一一袭击事件的资金来源。

2002年11月，为了根除非洲冲突钻石的非法贸易，维护非洲地区的和平与稳定，联合国通过了《金伯利进程国际证书制度》，未附有金伯利进程成员签发的证明书的毛坯钻石的进口以及面向非金伯利进程成员的毛坯钻石的出口都是被禁止的。

Blood diamonds (also called conflict diamonds or war diamonds or hot diamonds) is a term used for a diamond mined in a war zone and sold to finance an insurgency, an invading army's war efforts, or a warlord's activity. The term is used to highlight the negative consequences of the diamond trade in certain areas, or to label an individual diamond as having come from such an area. Diamonds mined during the recent civil wars in Angola, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and other nations have been given the label. The term conflict resource refers to analogous situations involving other natural resources.
