红狼（学名：Canis rufus）是一种生存在北美洲的灰狼亚种，分布于美国东南部，过去一度被当作是独立物种，近来有研究指出祖先是灰狼和郊狼的杂交种。

1970年代以来就因毛皮、和农人起冲突等原因面临灭绝。此外和郊狼杂交也是重要原因。曾经一度被认为野外灭绝，后来在****年将驯养的狼引入北卡罗来纳州，如今已繁衍到超过50只。此外，还有150多头红狼在美国被圈养。

由于数目稀少，红狼常找不到同类繁殖，而与北美大草原的郊狼交配，令纯种红狼的数量下降。

体长1.1～1.3米，平均体重25公斤。舍群结构比的上灰狼，会群集猎捕鹿类，单独时则猎捕兔、啮齿类等。

It is generally, morphologically, an intermediate between the coyote and gray wolf, and is of a reddish, tawny color. The red wolf is a federally listed endangered species of the United States, and is protected by law. It has been listed by IUCN as a critically endangered species since 1996.
