Waar

Waar (Wār; IPA: [ʋɑːr], meaning "The Strike") is a 2013 Pakistani action-thriller film directed by Bilal Lashari and written and produced by Hassan Rana. The film features Shaan Shahid, Meesha Shafi, Ali Azmat, Shamoon Abbasi, Ayesha Khan and Kamran Lashari. It is the second highest-grossing Pakistani film after Jawani Phir Nahi Ani. It is a stylized depiction of events surrounding the war on terror in Pakistan, including the attack on a Police Academy at Lahore in 2009.
