安全岛，又称交通岛、分隔岛，是一种行人过路设施，位于马路的中央或快车道与慢车道之间，供行人暂避车辆并分隔两方向或快慢车道。而一些安全岛会设有两个安全岛灯（英语称为Bollard），分别在安全岛的两端，提醒司机闪避，以确保岛上行人的安全。部分安全岛上，还配合交通号志或斑马线使用，以控制道路的交通流量，增加过路行人的安全。

A traffic island is a solid or painted object in a road that channelises traffic. It can also be a narrow strip of island between roads that intersect at an acute angle. If the island uses road markings only, without raised kerbs or other physical obstructions, it is called a painted island or (especially in the UK) ghost island. Traffic islands can be used to reduce the speed of cars driving through.
