Quixadá is a municipality in the state of Ceará, in Brazil. Located at around 4°58′15″S39°0′54″W / 4.97083°S 39.01500°W / -4.97083; -39.01500, it was founded in 1870. Its population was of 80,605 residents in 2010, according to the Brazilian census. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Quixadá.
