仙灵棋谜(Fairy chess),是规则变化更多的国际象棋棋谜。
- 攻王规则改变: 如自将死、协将死、 reflexmate等。
- 非国际象棋棋子:加入少数的仙灵棋子、或其他棋类的棋子。
- 其余规则变化: 如依恃象棋、安德纳赫象棋等。
- 棋盘变化: 如圆柱型象棋等。

Fairy chess 仙灵棋谜Fairy chess comprises chess problems that differ from classical (also called orthodox) chess problems in that they are not direct mates. The term was introduced by Henry Tate in 1914 and has resisted change since then. While selfmate dates from the Middle Ages, helpmate was invented by Max Lange in the late 19th century. Thomas Dawson (1889–1951), the "father of fairy chess", invented many fairy pieces and new conditions. He was also problem editor of Fairy Chess Review (1930–51). |
