Intel Core（中国大陆译为「酷睿」）属于Pentium M架构的最后一代产品。它是英特尔在2006年1月打造新形象时发布的新一代处理器。芯片产品代号为Yonah（来自希伯来语的יונה‎），并于2006年1月5日（东亚）、1月6日（美国）发行。这是Intel的第一款32位双核移动低功耗处理器、第一款65nm制程的移动处理器。

最初的Core品牌是指Intel的32-bit移动双核x86CPU，源于Pentium M处理器。Intel Core处理器系列使用了增强版本的Intel P6微架构。其微架构也被称为“Enhanced Pentium M”。Intel Core处理器是其后继产品——64位Intel Core微处理器架构（商标名称为Core 2）CPU的先驱。Intel Core品牌处理器包括两个分支：Duo (双核)与Solo (即Duo处理器，但其中的一个核被停用，用来替代Pentium M品牌的单核移动处理器)。

Intel Core is Intel's brand name for various mid-range to high-end home and business microprocessors. These processors displaced the existing mid-to-high end Pentium processors of the time, moving the Pentium to the entry level, and bumping the Celeron series of processors to low end. Identical or more capable versions of Core processors are also sold as Xeon processors for the server and workstation market.
