  在量子力学里，互补原理（complementarity principle）是尼尔斯·玻尔于1927年提出的一个基础原理，是哥本哈根诠释的角石。互补原理有很多个方面，对于每一个方面，互补原理蕴含不同的意义。 概念而言，微观物体具有波动性或粒子性，有时会表现出波动性，有时会表现出粒子性。当描述微观物体的量子行为时，必须同时思考其波动性与粒子性。互补原理阐明，不能用单独一种概念来完备地描述整体量子现象，为了完备地描述整体量子现象，必须将分别描述波动性、粒子性的概念都囊括在内。这两种概念可以视为同一个硬币的两面。按照玻尔的说法，微观物体的波动性与粒子性互补。
