慈善组织，或称公益组织，是非营利组织。 任何人士捐款给法定认可的慈善组织，可以获得有关的扣税优惠；而任何人士捐款给没有慈善组织资格的非营利组织，该笔捐款不能申请用作相对的扣税。现时全球的慈善组织的筹款方式出现了一种有效的「月捐运动」（DDC - Direct Dialogue Campaign）。
