津巴布韦元（Zimbabwean dollar）是1980年至2009年间津巴布韦的法定货币，每一元分为100分（cents），其符号缩写为“$”或“Z$”（与其他以「元」作单位的货币区分）。

因为恶性通货膨胀，2009年4月12日津巴布韦政府决定，在未来一年时间里正式暂停使用津巴布韦元。事实上津巴布韦元已经停止在市面上流通，民众改用南非兰特、博茨瓦纳普拉、英镑及美元等货币替代。

2015年6月，津巴布韦政府宣布弃用津巴布韦元，民众可将存在银行帐户内或持有现钞的津巴布韦币，向津巴布韦储备银行换成美元，汇率是3.5×10辛元兑1美元。

The Zimbabwean dollar (sign: $, or Z$ to distinguish it from other dollar-denominated currencies) was the official currency of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 12 April 2009, with a period of inflation, followed by hyperinflation.

The Zimbabwe dollar was introduced in 1980 to directly replace the Rhodesian dollar at par (1:1) and at a similar value to the US dollar. Hyperinflation in Zimbabwe reduced it to one of the lowest valued currency units in the world. It was redenominated three times (in 2006, 2008 and 2009), with denominations up to a $100 trillion banknote. The final redenomination produced the "fourth dollar" (ZWL), which was worth 10 ZWD (first dollars).
