韦达定理 Vieta's formulas

韦达定理给出多项式方程的根与系数的关系，所以又简称根系关系。定理陈述如下：

设 $F(x)=\sum_{m=1}^{n}a_mx^m + a_0 = 0$

是一个 $n\ge 1$ 次方程，则有

在一元二次方程的特例中，两个根的和等于方程的一次项系数除以二次项系数的相反数；两个根的乘积等于方程的常数项除以二次项系数。

韦达定理的逆定理同样成立。仍然以一元二次方程为例：给定一个一元二次方程。如果有两个数，它们的和等于该方程的一次项系数除以二次项系数的相反数，它们的积又等于该方程的常数项除以二次项系数，那幺它们就是该方程的两根。
