瓦良格人（瑞典语：Varjager；希腊语：Βάραγγοι或Βαριάγοι，Varangoi或Variagoi；俄语：Варяги, Varyagi或Varyahy）也作瓦里亚基人、瓦兰吉亚人、瓦兰人、法朗清人、瓦伦京人。是指公元8世纪至10世纪出现在东欧平原上的诺曼人。瓦良格人原来居住在北欧的斯堪的纳维亚半岛，后逐渐沿着商路来到东欧平原，活跃在当地的商路上。同维京人一样，他们从事着强盗和商人的双重工作，也经常抢劫财物，掳掠人口为奴，运到君士坦丁堡出售。他们还受雇于当地东斯拉夫人的王公，充当亲兵，从事征战。其中一位瓦良格人领袖留里克还创建了留里克王朝，统治了基辅罗斯。后逐渐与斯拉夫人和钦察人融合为俄罗斯人（父系是瓦良格人母系是斯拉夫人跟钦察人的民族）。

The Varangians or Varyags (Old Norse:Væringjar; Greek: Βάραγγοι, Βαριάγοι, Varangoi, Variagoi) was the name given by Greeks and East Slavs to Vikings, who between the 9th and 11th centuries ruled the medieval state of Kievan Rus' and formed the Byzantine Varangian Guard. According to the 12th century Kievan Primary Chronicle, a group of Varangians known as the Rus' settled in Novgorod in 862 under the leadership of Rurik. Before Rurik, the Rus' might have ruled an earlier hypothetical polity. Rurik's relative Oleg conquered Kiev in 882 and established the state of Kievan Rus', which was later ruled by Rurik's descendants.
