血压计是用于测量血压的医疗仪器。现在常见的血压计设计有水银柱式血压计、电子血压计和气压表式血压计（表型气压式血压计）三种。电子血压计除了能显示血压读数外，亦有提供脉搏读数，部份型号更能自动记录每天的数据，方便监测血压及脉搏的长期变化情况。

水银柱式血压计和表型气压式血压计的量度位置为上臂，而电子血压计则有手臂式和手腕式。手腕式血压计小巧轻便，容易携带，但是手臂式较为准确。无论是手臂式或是手腕式，测量时必须注意手部高度应与心脏位置呈水平，血压计不应包裹在衣服外。

血压计最早由Samuel Siegfried Karl Ritter von Basch发明。1896年，意大利医生Scipione Riva-Rocci发明的血压计更为简单易用。1901年，Harvey Cushing 发现这种仪器后将其推广使用。这种血压计包括一个用于充气的气球、一个能充气的袖带和一个水银检压计。

A sphygmomanometer (/ˌsfɪɡmoʊməˈnɒmᵻtər/ SFIG-moh-mə-NOM-i-tər), blood pressure meter, blood pressure monitor or blood pressure gauge is a device used to measure blood pressure, composed of an inflatable cuff to collapse and then release the artery under the cuff in a controlled manner, and a mercury or mechanical manometer to measure the pressure. It is always used in conjunction with a means to determine at what pressure blood flow is just starting, and at what pressure it is unimpeded. Manual sphygmomanometers are used in conjunction with a stethoscope.
