格奥尔格·巴泽利茨，1938年生于德国的萨克森，画家，曾就读于东德，后迁居西德。北美人认为他是个新表现主义者，而欧洲评论界一般认为他是现代主义者。1960年代警察曾查禁他的一幅画Die große Nacht im Eimer，因为该作品有着露骨的性爱内容，促使他更快进入了艺术家的行列。巴泽利茨是身价最高的在世画家之一，现在担任柏林Hochschule der Künste教授。

Georg Baselitz (born 23 January 1938) is a German painter. Baselitz's style is interpreted by the Northern American critics as Neo-Expressionist, but from a European perspective, it is more seen as postmodern.
