加利利海（希伯来语：ים כנרת or ים כינרת‎，阿拉伯语：بحيرة طبريا‎）是以色列最大的淡水湖，周长53公里，长约21公里，宽约13公里；总面积166平方公里，最大深度48米，低于海平面213米，是地球上海拔最低的一个淡水湖，也是世界上海拔第二低的湖泊（仅高于其南侧的咸水湖死海）。加利利海其实不是一个海，只是传统上称为海。

The Sea of Galilee, also Kinneret, Lake of Gennesaret, or Lake Tiberias (Hebrew: יָם כִּנֶּרֶת, Judeo-Aramaic: יַמּא דטבריא, Arabic:بحيرة طبريا‎), is the largest freshwater lake in Israel, and it is approximately 53 km (33 mi) in circumference, about 21 km (13 mi) long, and 13 km (8.1 mi) wide. The lake has a total area of 166.7 km (64.4 sq mi) at its fullest, and a maximum depth of approximately 43 m (141 feet). At levels between 215 metres (705 ft) and 209 metres (686 ft) below sea level, it is the lowest freshwater lake on Earth and the second-lowest lake overall (after the Dead Sea, a saltwater lake). The lake is fed partly by underground springs although its main source is the Jordan River which flows through it from north to south.
