连音

连音（英语：Sandhi；梵语：संधि，saṃdhi ，“连接”）是涵盖发生在语素或词的边界上的各种语音处理的一个术语(因此属于所谓的语素构词学)。例子包括跨越词的边界的声音融合，和由于临近声音或由于邻接词的文法功能而导致的声音变更。连音特别显著的出现在梵语音韵中，但是很多其他语言也有这个现象。

Sandhi (Sanskrit: संधिः sandhí "joining") is a cover term for a wide variety of phonological processes that occur at morpheme or word boundaries (thus belonging to what is called morphophonology). Examples include the fusion of sound across word boundaries, as its name implies, and the alteration of sounds due to neighboring sound or due to the grammatical function of adjacent words.
