联盟式橄榄球（英语：Rugby League），是由橄榄球直接发展出来的一种团队球类运动，因其组织名称而得名。
联盟式橄榄球竞赛双方各派13名球员上场，比赛场地为长方形草地，球场两端各有一「H」型球门。比赛目的是持球冲到对方球门线后方以球触地得分，称之为达阵；亦可以在比赛中踢球越过球门横杆上方而得分。当比赛时间结束时，以得分较多者获胜。比赛过程中，防守一方可擒抱攻方持球员以阻止其进攻，但擒抱方式与位置均有所限制，以避免选手受伤。
防守球员将对方持球员擒抱倒地后，便结束攻方该一回合的攻击，需放手让攻方持球员重新站立。持球员应将球置于地面用脚往后拨传以重新开球，并进行下一回合的攻击。若未掉球，攻方每次攻击可持续进行6个回合，然后攻守角色互换，改由对方重新攻击。

Rugby league football, usually called rugby league, league, rugby or football , is a full contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field. One of the two codes of rugby football, it originated in England in 1895 as a split from the Rugby Football Union over the issue of payments to players. Its rules gradually changed with the purpose of producing a faster, more entertaining game for spectators.
