灵气疗法，源自日本，由日本人臼井瓮男于1922年所创立，灵气疗法是一种自然疗法，借着引导能量技巧，只需利用双手，把能量传输到受者使受者身体回复平衡，声称能够舒缓压力，改善健康状况。“灵气”（Reiki）在日语中写作“霊気”，指所谓的宇宙能量，是一种利用宇宙能量供应人类所欠缺的能量，加速自愈能力的方法。在1922年经日本基督教教士臼井瓮男再次发现。并将其整理而开始对外传授。臼井灵气是灵气系统的根本，亦是最易学习和理解。其他灵气还包括有**灵气、埃及神光灵气、慈光灵气(Karuna Reiki)及亚利安灵气等。

Reiki(/ˈreɪkiː/) is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Since its beginning in Japan, Reiki has been adapted across varying cultural traditions. It uses a technique commonly called palm healing or hands-on-healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners believe that they are transferring "universal energy" through the palms of the practitioner, which they believe encourages healing.
