乘车节 Ratha-Yatra

乘车节是印度的大节日之一。乘车节时会将神像搬到车上，然后车列在各街道游行。这样做是为了让因种姓或教派而无法进入神殿的信徒瞻仰神像。
神车雕刻精细，高大，甚重，通常由几百名信徒牵引。

Ratha Yatra is a festival that involves moving deities Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra and Sudarshana on a chariot (called a ratha or rotho). In Sanskrit, Ratha means "chariot", and Yatra means "journey"; the festival usually involves an annual procession (journey) of a deity's idols. Other names for the festival include ratha jatra or chariot festival.
