贺年卡，中国古代称为贺谒、拜年帖，日本称为年贺状，是东亚文化圈在过年时送赠亲友的贺卡，贺年卡一般绘上传统吉祥图案或该年生肖的图案或除了新年相关的贺词。
中国送赠贺年卡的习俗可以追溯至宋代，但早于唐代已有后世贺年卡的雏形，称为「投刺」，「刺」是指名刺。宋代时，人们过年会向上司或长辈年长登门拜年，到访不遇时会留下一种称为拜谒的卡片，上有贺年祝福语句，以表亲自上门拜年之意。现有文献中记载最早的一张贺年片，是北宋文学家秦观写的。其文曰：“观 敬贺 子允学士尊兄 正旦高邮秦观手状”。到明代，人们多改用梅花笺纸制作贺年卡，称为拜年帖。当时是贺年卡是各人亲手制作。到近代才出现机器大量印制的贺年卡。
