Nagar (Urdu:نگر) is a town near to the Gilgit Valley in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. The town is located in Hunza–Nagar District and was the capital of the former State of Nagar. The town is located at 35°24'0N 73°48'0E with an altitude of 2688 metres (8822 feet).
