沙拉望鳞南乳鱼，为辐鳍鱼纲胡瓜鱼目南乳鱼科的其中一种，分布于澳洲西部的淡水水域，体长可达7.4公分，栖息在水质偏酸的池塘、沟渠或小溪，以甲壳类及水生昆虫为食，繁殖期在冬末春初，幼鱼孵化后在夏季时会躲藏在泥中夏眠。

LepidogalaxiasLepidogalaxias salamandroides is a species of small fish of Western Australia. It is the only member of the family Lepidogalaxiidae (Lepidogalaxiid) and genus Lepidogalaxias. Common names for this fish include Salamanderfish and Shannon mudminnow. Although it is not a lungfish, it resembles lungfish in several respects, including its ability to survive dry seasons by burrowing into the sand. It is on the IUCN Red List as Near Threatened (Lower Risk). |
