Kalamariá (Greek:Καλαμαριά) is a municipality (Borough) of the Thessaloniki Urban Area, located about 7 kilometres (4 miles) southeast of downtown Thessaloniki. It is the second largest municipality (with a population of 91,279 as of 2011) of the Thessaloniki Urban Area as well as one of the largest in Greece, with a population increase of 13% since the 1991 census.
