合资公司，又称合营，简称JV（Joint Venture），一般定义为由两家公司共同投入资本成立，分别拥有部分股权，并共同分享利润、支出、风险、及对该公司的控制权，与策略联盟不同。策略联盟与公司股权无关，在形式上也较不严谨。合资公司可能只为一个专案或计划而成立，也可能像索尼爱立信这样以合资企业的形式持续合作经营。

They exercise control over the enterprise and consequently share revenues, expenses and assets. There are other types of companies such as JV limited by guarantee, joint ventures limited by guarantee with partners holding shares. |
