加氢脱硫（HDS）是一种广泛用于脱去天然气和石油炼制产品（如汽油、喷气燃料、煤油、柴油和燃料油）中的硫（S）的催化工艺。 脱硫的目的是减少二氧化硫（SO₂）排放，它们来自使用燃料的汽车、飞机、铁路机车、船只、燃气或燃油发电厂、住宅和工业炉，以及其他形式的燃料燃烧。

Hydrodesulfurization (HDS) is a catalytic chemical process widely used to remove sulfur (S) from natural gas and from refined petroleum products, such as gasoline or petrol, jet fuel, kerosene, diesel fuel, and fuel oils. The purpose of removing the sulfur is to reduce the sulfur dioxide (SO
2) emissions that result from using those fuels in automotive vehicles, aircraft, railroad locomotives, ships, gas or oil burning power plants, residential and industrial furnaces, and other forms of fuel combustion.
