人道毁灭（英语：Animal euthanasia），是以最低的受痛苦程度，把动物生命「人为地结束」，“euthanasia”源于希腊文，有「好的死亡」或「无痛苦的死亡」的含意，也就是安乐死。人道毁灭的原因一般是疾病、疯狗症、市场供过于求、优生学等。基于道德尊重的原因，人道毁灭的动物身体绝对不作食物的目的，否则如此的行为称为「宰杀」、「屠宰」，例如宰猪、宰牛、宰鸡。

在商业化的人类社会，人道毁灭是不少被遗弃宠物猫狗的结局。在宠物店商品供应链中，宠物给宠物繁殖场大量生产。当市场供过于求，过余部份的宠物会给繁殖场人道毁灭，用以节省生产成本，调节供应量及市价。

Animal euthanasia (euthanasia from Greek:εὐθανασία; "good death") is the act of putting an animal to death or allowing it to die as by withholding extreme medical measures. Reasons for euthanasia include incurable (and especially painful) conditions or diseases, lack of resources to continue supporting the animal, or laboratory test procedures. Euthanasia methods are designed to cause minimal pain and distress. Euthanasia is distinct from animal slaughter and pest control although in some cases the procedure is the same.
