杰济拉州 Al Jazirah (state)

杰济拉州（阿拉伯语：الجزيرة，「半岛」的意思），是苏丹的18个州之一，位于该国东部。青尼罗河流经。面积23,373平方千米，人口为2,796,300人（2006年），首府瓦德迈达尼。

Al Jazirah (Arabic:ولاية الجزيرة Al Ǧazīra), (Madani) also spelt Gezira, is one of the 18 states of Sudan. The state lies between the Blue Nile and the White Nile in the east-central region of the country. It has an area of 27,549 km. The name comes from the Arabic word for island. Wad Madani is the capital of the state.
