Ectasia

Ectasia (/ɛkˈteɪʒə/) (meaning "dilation" or "distention of a tubular structure"), also called ectasis (/ˈɛktəsᵻs/), usually occurs as part of a pathophysiological process (except in atelectasis, when absence of ectasis is the problem).
