Klein Independent School District

Klein Independent School District (Klein ISD) is a school district that covers 87.5 square miles (227 km) in Harris County, Texas, United States. Almost all of the territory is unincorporated; a small portion of Houston is within the district. In the 2014-15 school year Klein had 49,400 students, and in the 2015-2016 year, Klein ISD has 50,600 students. Klein ISD is part of the taxation base for the Lone Star College System. Dr. Jim Cain is Superintendent of Schools.
