In tropical regions, the losses range up to 40% of the dissolved gas in some locations. Being moist also helps dissolve the gases and speed up exchange, so there you have it. The liquid also contains dissolved gases such as methane and hydrogen, which in sunless environments support microbial life. SciSHow 快问快答小科普 Warmer water also holds fewer dissolved gas molecules. TED-Ed(视频版) In its molten state, magma is a mixture of dissolved gases and melted minerals. 新课标人教版高中英语(必修3) What many scientists believe is that the continued presence of water allowed the earth to dissolve harmful gases and acids into the oceans and seas. TED-Ed(视频版) This process doesn't incorporate many of the dissolved gasses, resulting in a higher concentration of the compounds that form explosive bubbles. 202329 This magma, laden with dissolved gases like water vapor, carbon dioxide, and sulfur dioxide, is stored in a magma chamber beneath the volcano. This big differences in pressure make it easy for oxygen molecules to travel from the outside air into your blood plasma, because, as a rule dissolved gases always diffuse down their partial pressure gradients. VOA常速英语_美洲 " One of the main problems that may occur to a diver is a decompression sickness when dissolved gases including nitrogen come out of the solution in bubbles and may affect a diver's Body" . Being small allows red blood cells to flow through very small capillaries and increases their surface area to volume ratio, which in turn increases the speed with which they can release or absorb dissolved gases.
Dissolution (chemistry)![]() The dissolution of gases, liquids, or solids into a liquid or other solvent is a process by which these original states become solutes (dissolved components), forming a solution of the gas, liquid, or solid in the original solvent. Solid solutions are the result of dissolution of one solid into another, and occur, e.g., in metal alloys, where their formation is governed and described by the relevant phase diagram. In the case of a crystalline solid dissolving in a liquid, the crystalline structure must be disintegrated such that the separate atoms, ions, or molecules are released. For liquids and gases, the molecules must be able to form non-covalent intermolecular interactions with those of the solvent for a solution to form. |
