Alexander Alekhine




Alexander Aleksandrovich Alekhine (Russian:Алекса́ндр Алекса́ндрович Але́хин, pronounced [ɐlʲɪkˈsandr ɐlʲɪkˈsandrəvʲɪtɕ ɐˈlʲexʲɪn]; October 31 [O.S. October 19] 1892 –March 24, 1946) was a Russian and French chess grandmaster and the fourth World Chess Champion. He is widely considered one of the greatest chess players ever.
