即期券是美国纸币的一种，发行于1861年8月至1862年4月美国南北战争期间，面额有5美元、10美元、20美元。即期券是美国发行的第一种纸币，在某种意义上，广泛流传到今天的一系列的货币发行额中，即期券排在第一位。美国政府通过用即期券支付内战期间产生的包含政府工作人员和军事人员工资在内的费用，从而将它投放于货币流通市场。

因为即期券背面与众不同的绿色油墨以及洲特许银行和联邦注意到了当时其具有代表性的空白面，所以即期券由又了一个“美钞”的绰号，后来名字由法定货币和联邦储备券所代替。即期券的正面含有许多熟悉的元素，例如白头海雕、亚伯拉罕·林肯和亚历山大·汉密尔顿的头像，但是当时即期券上的图像跟今天所看到的美国货币图像是不同的。

A Demand Note is a type of United States paper money that was issued between August 1861 and April 1862 during the American Civil War in denominations of 5, 10, and 20 US$. Demand Notes were the first type of paper money issued by the United States in the sense that they were the first in the series of emissions which has continuously achieved wide circulation down to the present day. The U.S. government placed the Demand Notes into circulation by using them to pay expenses incurred during the Civil War including the salaries of its workers and military personnel.
