震颤性谵妄（Delirium tremens）也称为是酒毒性谵妄，是形容因戒酒而引起的谵妄状态。若有这个状况发生，通常在三天后会有戒断症状的产生，并可能持续二至三天 。患者也有机会产生幻听幻觉。生理上的表征包括颤抖、寒颤、心悸以及盗汗。若有高热或癫痫的情形，将有导致死亡的风险。酒精其实是一种非常危险且难以戒除的药物。

震颤性谵妄通常发生在大量喝酒超过一个月的饮酒者身上。相似的戒断症状可能发生在苯二氮平类和巴比妥类药物的成瘾者上。但是对于停用古柯碱类的兴奋剂，则没有太严重的并发症。针对有震颤性谵妄症状的患者，首先必须排除例如电解质不平衡、胰脏炎还有酒精性肝炎的可能性。
