The company is based in Omaha, Nebraska. As of June 2011 Schneider Electric acquired Telvent. Telvent DTN is the name of the service that is owned by its parent company Schneider Electric. DTN’s primary users are agriculture producers, professionals in weather-sensitive industries and commodities and futures traders.
