达比加群（Dabigatran）是一种创新的抗凝血剂，即新一代薄血药，被誉为近六十年来防中风的最佳药物。

在药物分类学上，「达比加群」属于「直接凝血酶抑制剂」(Direct Thrombin Inhibitors, DTI)。目前医学界已研究证实「达比加群」在多项临床适应症中所发挥的作用，部分病例显示，它可以取代华法林成为口服抗凝血药（薄血药）的首选药物，原因是「达比加群」比旧式薄血药「华法林」（warfarin）及抗血小板药物更有效减低中风，药效不但不易受食物或药物的影响，亦不需经常验血监察凝血指数(INR)，提供可预测而稳定的抗凝血效果，令预防中风疗效及病人生活更为理想。「达比加群」以其前驱药「达比加群酯」（dabigatran etexilate）的形态经口服进入人体。

Dabigatran (Pradaxa, Prazaxa) is an anticoagulant that can be given by mouth from the class of the direct thrombin inhibitors. It is being studied for various uses and in some cases is an alternative to warfarin "blood thinner" since it doesn't have to be monitored by blood tests, offers similar results in terms of efficacy, and can be taken by mouth. There was no specific way to reverse the anticoagulant effect of dabigatran in the event of a major bleeding event at first, unlike warfarin. A dabigatran antidote (idarucizumab) was approved by the FDA in 2015. It was developed by the pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim.
