非洲狭吻鳄（学名Crocodylus cataphractus）是一种中型鳄鱼，身长约为有3至4米，主要栖身于西非至中非的湿地，因为嘴形偏狭而得名。牠们主要以进食鱼类、两栖类及甲壳类为生。
最近的基因研究表明，非洲狭吻鳄与其它鳄属动物亲缘关系较远，将独立成一属（仍在鳄科之下）。
