铬酸盐是铬酸形成的非多聚阴离子的盐，含有铬酸根离子——CrO₄，呈现特征性的黄色；重铬酸根化学式则为 Cr₂O₇。铬酸盐中的铬为 VI 氧化态，有毒且具有致癌性，被国际癌症研究机构（IARC）划分为第一类致癌物质。
