切特里
切特里，是尼泊尔卡斯人三个种姓其中之一，也是人口最多的种姓。占全国人口15.5％，在山区比例更高。
切特里是尼泊尔刹帝利种姓，但他们并不全部是印度移民:
- 1)有很多是婆罗门授予刹帝利种姓的卡斯人，
- 2)婆罗门(巴洪)的父亲和任何其他“干净”的种姓，及包括马嘉人或其他藏缅语族“山地部落”妇人的子女，
- 3)有些是平民向婆罗门奉献一定数量贡金换取刹帝利身分。
在尼泊尔现代史，切特里在国家统一发挥了关键作用，是廓尔喀军队核心。

Chhetri 切特里
Chhetri (Chettri, or Chetri) (Nepali:छेत्री), synonymous with Kshetri (Nepali:क्षेत्री) and Khatri (Nepali:खत्री) is a Nepali caste, which are part of Khas people along with Bramins, Thakuris. (Nepali:खस). Chhetris are of Indo-Aryan origin claiming to be of the Kshatriya varna. They make up 16.6% of Nepal's population according to the census of 2011, making them the most populous caste or ethnic community in Nepal. The majority of Chhetris speak Nepali.
