Chevening, also known as Chevening House, is a large country house at Chevening in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, in south east England. It is an official residence of the British Foreign Secretary. During the last coalition government, the Foreign Secretary and the Deputy Prime Minister shared use of the property. It was built in the 1620s to designs reputedly by Inigo Jones, and is a Grade I listed building. The surrounding gardens, pleasure grounds and park are listed Grade II*.
