姥鲨 Basking shark

象鲛（学名:Cetorhinus maximus），又名姥鲨，是象鲛科及象鲛属中唯一的一个物种。牠是继鲸鲛以下世界上第二大的鱼类。象鲛分布在全世界的温带海洋。牠们游动缓慢，一般都没有危害及依靠浮游生物为饵料的。
就像其他的大型鲨鱼，象鲛正面临灭绝的危险，原因是其低繁殖及过份捕鱼，以供应世界各地对鱼翅、鱼肉及器官的需求。

The basking shark (Cetorhinus maximus) is the second largest living fish, after the whale shark, and one of three plankton-eating sharks along with the whale shark and me****uth shark. Adults typically reach 6–8 m (20–26 ft) in length. They are usually greyish-brown, with mottled skin. The caudal (tail) fin has a strong lateral keel and a crescent shape.
