卡塞格林反射镜是一种使用二个镜片组合的望远镜，像是卡塞格林望远镜，他也用在高增益的天线。

在1672年，洛冉·卡塞格林首先发展出这型望远镜，主镜是凹面镜，次镜是凸面镜，两个镜片对称的排列在光轴上，主镜的中心通常会穿孔以让光线通过而到达目镜、照相机或感光器材。主镜的型式是抛物面镜，次镜则是双曲面镜。

望远镜有三种基本的形式：折射式、反射式和折反射式，卡塞格林反射镜属于反射式的类别，但有些也会采用折反射式的设计。

The Cassegrain reflector is a combination of a primary concave mirror and a secondary convex mirror, often used in optical telescopes and radio antennas. This design puts the focal point at a convenient location behind the primary mirror and the convex secondary adds a telephoto effect creating a much longer focal length in a mechanically short system.
