斯德哥尔摩（瑞典语：Stockholm， 发音，当地华人有时称其为斯京），瑞典首都，也是第一大城市。瑞典王国政府、国会以及瑞典王室的官方宫殿都设在斯德哥尔摩。它位于瑞典的东海岸，濒波罗的海，梅拉伦湖入海处，风景秀丽，是著名的旅游胜地。市区分布在14座岛屿和一个半岛上，70余座桥梁将这些岛屿联为一体，因此享有“北方威尼斯”的美誉。斯德哥尔摩市区为大斯德哥尔摩的一部分。

Stockholm (/ˈstɒkhoʊm, -hoʊlm/; Swedish pronunciation: [ˈstɔkːˈɔlm, ˈstɔkˈhɔlm] ( pronunciation)) is the capital of Sweden and the most populous city in the Nordic countries, with 909,976 people living in the municipality, approximately 1.4 million in the urban area, and 2.2 million in the metropolitan area. The city is spread across 14 islands on the coast in the southeast of Sweden at the mouth of Lake Mälaren, by the Stockholm archipelago and the Baltic Sea. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by a Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the capital of Stockholm County.
