三脚架，是由三条杆材组成的支撑结构。利用三角形的稳定性，三脚架可以使架于其上的物品获得一个稳定的支撑，而不易翻倒。通常三脚架上也有方便设备进行俯仰、旋转的机关。通常用于架设重量不大的中小型设备。

较为高级的摄影三脚架并不附设云台，需要另外购买。三脚架的云台螺丝分为⁄₄英寸（6.350毫米）与⁄₈英寸（9.525毫米）两种。一般的数码相机、数码单镜反光相机和摄影机机身底部的螺丝孔均为1/4英寸规格，部份专业型摄影机与中片幅以上的相机则采用3/8英寸规格的螺丝。
