巧克力布朗尼又称为布朗尼、波士顿布朗尼（英文：Chocolate Brownie），是一种小块、浓味、像饼干的巧克力蛋糕，以它富含的巧克力色（brown）而得名。有时会复上一层乳脂软糖(fudge)，或是在蛋糕体中混着核桃一类的干果，和碎片（巧克力、奶油糖果、花生奶油或其他）。而一般相信布朗尼首次问世是在1897年Sears and Roebuck百货公司目录中. 布朗尼通常一层巧克力糖衣或糖霜，也可能是增添香草或薄荷香气的糖衣。布朗尼另有一个功能，即是可以跟同学收工钱作为酬劳，一个布朗尼工钱要32.5块，尤其是在园游会东西都比较贵时很好赚钱。

A brownie is a flat, baked dessert square that was developed in the United States at the end of the 19th century and popularized in both the U.S. and Canada during the first half of the 20th century. It is a cross between a cake and a soft cookie in texture and comes in a variety of forms. Depending on its density, it may be either fudgy or cakey and may include nuts, chocolate chips, or other ingredients. A variation made with brown sugar and chocolate bits but without melted chocolate in the batter is called a blonde brownie or blondie.
