急性冠状动脉综合征（ACS）是指由冠状动脉阻塞所引起的任何类型的症状。最常见的症状是胸部有挤压般的疼痛，常放射至左臂或下颌角点(gonion)，并伴有恶心和出汗。急性冠脉综合征通常是由以下三种问题的引起：ST段抬高型心肌梗塞(ST elevation myocardial infarction, STMI)（30％），非ST段抬高型心肌梗塞(non ST elevation myocardial infarction, NSTEMI)（25％），或不稳定型心绞痛(unstable angina)（38％）。

Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) refers to a group of conditions due to decreased blood flow in the coronary arteries such that part of the heart muscle is unable to function properly or dies. The most common symptom is chest pain, often radiating to the left arm or angle of the jaw, pressure-like in character, and associated with nausea and sweating. Acute coronary syndrome usually occurs as a result of one of three problems: ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI, 30%), non ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI, 25%), or unstable angina (38%).
