布里斯托大便分类法（Bristol Stool Scale）是一种为了医学上的需求而设计的分类法，它将人类的大便分为七类。设计者为布里斯托大学（University of Bristol）的希顿（Heaton）和路易斯（Lewis），首篇于1997年发表在《北欧肠胃病学杂志》（Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology）上。因为大便的形状和其待在大肠内的时间有关，所以可以用它来判断食物经过大肠所需的时间。

分类法：

第一型和第二型表示有便秘；第三型和第四型是理想的便形，尤其第四型是最容易排便的形状；第五至第七型则有腹泻的可能。

The Bristol stool scale, Bristol stool chart (BSC), Bristol stool form scale, or BSF scale is a medical aid designed to classify the form of human feces into seven categories. Sometimes referred to in the UK as the Meyers scale, it was developed by Dr. Stephen Lewis and Dr. Ken Heaton at the University of Bristol and was first published in the Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology in 1997. The authors of that paper concluded that the form of the stool is a useful surrogate measure of colon transit time. That conclusion has since been challenged as having limited validity, and only in types 1 and 2 when the subject is not constipated. However, it remains in use as a research tool to evaluate the effectiveness of treatments for various diseases of the bowel, as well as a clinical communication aid.
