Booy, Tagbilaran

Booy is one of the barangays of Tagbilaran, Bohol, Philippines. It is one of the largest barangays and a 10-minute drive from downtown Tagbilaran. It is situated on one of the extended coastlines of the city. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 8,800. In the 2013 election, it had 4,716 registered voters, meaning that 54% of the population are aged 18 and over. Booy celebrates its Foundation Day every July 24. It comprises three sitios: Tunga, Tubod and Booy Proper which were merged into one barangay.
